The Posse That Wouldn't Quit
After being chased for weeks by a posse, Heyes and the Kid hide out on a ranch where a nice but poor family lives. They become idols of sorts for the two daughters, and quickly learn to like all of them.
Then, when the posse finally shows up and demand that Heyes and the Kid come out, Heyes suggests that the family collects the bounty rather than the posse. The posse reluctantly gives them up, and the leader of the posse will not leave their side. On the way to the nearest sheriff office, however, the remaining posse are attacked – by the daughters.
Heyes and the Kid get away, but changes their mind when they realize that the family could get in trouble for their sake. They return, but how can they stay out of jail if they have to give their identities away to the judge?
